The story goes like this.
The year was 1985. My uncle joe bought a brand spanking new Harley Davidson fxstc. He brought it down to San Bernardino to show it off. I got the pleasure of taking my very first real motorcycle ride that day. My dad took a picture with his old cannon 35mm camera. The picture was epic to say the least. In 1992 my dad bought that very motorcycle from him and started to chop it up. I being a teenager thought it was a grand old time. I helped with what I could but I’m sure I did more harm than good. It stayed in my dads hands for many years. He rode it to sturgis and back in a paughco hardtail frame like the boss he is. In 1998 he invited me to go to california to ride the coast with him. I couldn’t say no. My passion for building motorcycles was born that day. Since then, the bike has been tinkered with and rebuilt a few times. The old girl has problems but she’s still running great. Here is the original picture from 1985 and a new picture that we took on thanksgiving 2012. Enjoy.

Last year was a blast so we’re hosting this again this year. Join us, if you can. Who doesn’t like riding their motorbike out into the desert to camp and drink?
